Lil' Bird Media

For years I have designed websites for businesses, non-profits, media houses, institutions and individuals under my name (Nadja Masura Web Designs), and recently it occurred to me that I might name my work to better explain what I do, and the name Lil' Bird Media came to mind.
I was once asked (at an interview for the non-profit arm of a certain famous Marin media company) what type of animal I would be. And I answered a small bird. Now, I know this hardly seems as compelling as say, a leopard or a wolf, but...
A little bird can soar high into the sky, and then dive down to nestle in the branches, among leaves and blossoms, to give the world a tune.
Like a little bird:
- I observe the world around me, taking in the entire situation or landscape
- then dive in creating structure and organization, the branches to hold
- the details of content (leaves of language and images and designs which blossom into view).
When a project (such as a work of media, performance, class, or event) is complete, it is a joy to have created a new song.
